Join us at the Autism Rocks Music Festival at the Museum of Arts & Sciences on April 13 from 3-9pm! Get ready for an unforgettable day filled with live music, delicious food, and family-friendly activities. You can expect three incredible bands, including Matt McMillan and the City Limits, Open Seas, and Laura and the Dale Rivers (formerly Front Porch Radio). Bring your blankets and chairs to relax on the lawn while enjoying lawn games and toys for the kids. Indulge in tasty offerings from food trucks and Oliver’s bar, and don’t forget to bid on fantastic items at our silent auction, with something for everyone! All proceeds go towards bringing autism acceptance to our community, providing resources, and supporting families on their journey.
Join us for our 10th year in raising awareness and support for our Neurodiversity-Autism Community. The Journey Ride has provided scholarships, awareness, family events, and more in the middle Georgia for Central Georgia Autism since their establishment in 2010. Our ride offers routes for beginner to advanced cyclists.
This event is free to any families bringing a child or adult with autism. On this day, Central Georgia Autism rents the entire Museum of Arts and Sciences and it is open specifically to families in our community. Come relax and enjoy all the wonders the museum has to offer, with staff on hand to help optimize your experience.
This event is free to any families bringing a child or adult with autism. Twice a year, High Falls Water Park is rented out and is open specifically to families in our community. This wonderful community partner offers a special rate to CGA so we can provide this event at no cost to families. This venue offers big slides and little splashes, so there is something here for everyone. A community favorite, this event never fails to offer a great time. On-duty lifeguards and a fully fenced and gated environment help parents to relax and enjoy.
Throughout the year, CGA organizes parent meetups, informational meetings, retreats and other gatherings for parents to share their experiences and find community with other parents that may be having similar experiences. From painting nights to cabin weekend retreats, these outings typically require a small fee from participants but are subsidized by CGA funds and organized by CGA parents. 2024 dates to be determined.
Taking place at the beginning of each December, at Wesley Glen Ministries from 9:00 am until noon – This event is free and is always a wonderful time. We will have inflatables, activity stations, a raffle giveaway, chicken nuggets, cookie cake, Santa and more!
